Protector- End of June

We are now finalising the design for the USB keys and have been searching high and low for the first iteration of the keys. We are planning on sending out a limited amount of free keys- so if you are interested then please email tony.ruane@redstor.com and he'll put you on the list to receive them. The last steps for us now are to streamline the billing process for the service providers and to ensure that the end user process is as simple as possible.

Redstor Protector progress

We are now just a matter of days away from the official launch of Redstor Protector.

These last few weeks have been pretty manic getting all the finishing touches done for the official product release. Since Redstor unveiled our plans at the Manchester and London education training forums we have been inundated with enquiries for Redstor Protector. Most of the enquiries are from Local Authorities and Service Providers that either attended the events or heard about what we were planning through the grapevine.
Since BECTA sent out their guidance on encryption
we have been receiving many calls from schools directly.

The Redstor Protector service is designed to offer service providers and OEMs a simple, low cost way for their customers to secure the data that resides across all of their personal storage and computing devices. By combining backup, encryption, synchronization and data destruction into an easy to use service, accidental or malicious data loss scenarios can be avoided.

Designed with large scale deployments in mind the Redstor Protector is designed to be sold by service providers.

To help assist our team with communication flow and to ensure that all interested parties are kept uptodate with Redstor Protector release information we invite you to follow and post comments here on our Redstor Protector blog.
