Yet another busy BETT show for Redstor. The 2009 BETT show in Olympia London was the busiest yet for Redstor with over 50 separate Local Authorities and Service Provider customer and prospect meetings taking place to see the latest in data protection services and solutions to simplify the day to day operations of a service provider.

"We always like to introduce new ideas to our customers and this year we demonstrated a new concept that facilitates Information handling to Becta guidelines by simply encrypting data on removable devices and automatically synchronising that data to secure remote backup sites which was very well received" said Paul Evans MD of Redstor. The concept called The Redstor Protector will be available for Local Authorities to beta test in Spring 2009.
"Also at the show we provided updates on our successful Redstor Backup for Schools Service (RBUSS) which has been adopted by over 65 Local Authorities and Service Providers in the Education Market. The RBUSS service is now addressing over 10,000 primary schools. Redstor also showcased CentraStage which is a cost effective solution enabling devices such as PCs and Servers to be managed and controlled by service providers and is gaining significant traction with over 11 Local Authorities now using it such as Derby City, Manchester, North Somerset and service providers such as VT Group," added Paul Evans.
