April 30th was the last date of the 2009 Redstor Education Forums.
Both the London and Manchester events had a great attendance of regional local authorities and service providers.

This years hot topic was a demonstration of Redstor Protector a complete data protection suite for mobile data that can synchronise and backup up to a remote online account sensitive data that may be held on USB storage devices. Redstor Protector can also protect data from theft or loss as it can remotely trigger a shred of a computer's data the instance it is connected to the internet. The powerful data protection tool is intended to be resold by service providers and is specifically designed so that the end user is able to protect their sensitive data easily.
Other interesting topics included the latest in cloud based backup with a large audience discussing the features of the Redstor Online Backup Service for Schools (RBUSS) which has been adopted by over 67 Local Authority and Service Providers in the Education Market who between them represent over 11,700 schools.
Finally, CentraStage discussed how local authorities were using its software to save time and money by remotely managing devices at schools such as PCs, laptops and servers and running many repetitive tasks and jobs such as SIMS updates across thousands of schools devices.
